Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood scored the only goal of the game. With a superb long-range effort in the second half to help his team beat Crystal Palace 1-0. Despite a fiercely competitive game that should have seen them score more than one goal at the City Ground.

‘Foresters’ are without head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who was banned for the first game of three. Nicolas Dominguez and Anthony Elanga will replace James Ward-Prowse and Morgan Gibbs-White, who are suspended respectively.  UFABET

Exchanging punches in the 23rd minute.

A chance for the ‘Foresters’. The ball crossed to the midfielder, Ryan Yates, who headed it but hit the right post and went out. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

Back in the second half, in the 65th minute, Forest took a 1-0 lead. The ball flew up the left side, a Palace defender headed it clear to Wood in front of the goal, who shot with his right foot, the ball bounced off the ground and hit the near post, but Henderson couldn’t block it.

After taking the lead, Forest tightened up, while Palace struggled to pace themselves despite Jean-Philippe Mateta, Ismaila Sarr or Jeffrey Schlupp bringing them on to help things along.

End of 90+7 minutes of injury time, Nottingham Forest won 1-0, stopping a 3-game losing streak, increasing to 13 points, moving up to the top half of the table. Palace is still looking for a win after 8 match days. The position of head coach Glasner is hot.
